Self-introduction

I am living in Sapporo, Japan with my wife Marta and our dog Zigo. Currently I’m PhD student in Language Media Lab working on finding new ways in how computers could help us learn foreign languages. My time is split between research, learning Japanese, and struggling to find some time to learn new things about computers in general.

To best way to contact me is to send an email to msylw@media.eng.hokudai.ac.jp or msylwester@gmail.com

I believe computers and related technologies are great tools to make life easier, but way too often instead of this they create new problems, or require too large investments. I like helping people and computers understanding each other, making everyone’s lives better and more enjoyable.
