SUBMISSION

PROCEEDINGS

Due to a low number of accepted papers LaCATODA 2020 official proceedings will be published on this page. Extended versions of selected papers will be invited to the "Recent Developments in Creative Language Processing" special issue of the Applied Sciences Journal (Impact Factor: 2.474).

NEW: Two types of submissions

Long Paper - up to 10 pages (+ unlimited references)

Short Paper - up to 4 pages (+ unlimited references)

Long submissions must describe original and unpublished work, empirically evaluated wherever it is appropriate. Long papers will be presented orally for longer period of time than short paper; presentation time is to be decided after the organizers know the humber of accepted papers. If there are many accepted papers we will consider organizing a poster session.

LaCATODA 2020 also solicits short papers. Short paper submissions also must describe original and unpublished work, but it is not a shortened long paper. Instead short papers should have a point that can be made in a few pages. They may be a small, focused contribution; work in progress; a negative result, an opinion piece or an interesting application nugget.

NEW: Anonymity

We used to give authors freedom to decide if they want to anonymize their papers. From this year the reviewing will be blind, therefore papers must not include authors' names and affiliations. Furthermore, self-references that reveal the author's identity, e.g., "We previously showed (Nowak, 1999) ..." must be avoided. Instead, use citations such as "Nowak previously showed (Nowak, 1999) ..

Presentation requirement:

All accepted papers must be presented at the conference to appear in the proceedings. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for LACTODA 2020 by the early registration deadline.
